It's a special day for Apollo Career Center, they are celebrating their 40th anniversary and showing off the newly renovated campus.
Apollo held its fourth annual Apollopalooza. The open house showcased both the high school and adult education programs, and opening the renovated campus to the public. Apollo instructors and students showcased their skills through demonstrations, how-to sessions, and simulations.
"Every program is here, every teacher is here, we've invited all the students that are going to be enrolling including the adult education students so its a really good night to see everybody and to see what the new building and the new programs are looking like," Wells said.
Apollo offers over 30 programs in the adult education section and has a career program for 11th and 12th graders in high school. The center teaches hand on experience in a chosen field earning industry certifications and credentials along with college credit.
