LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - The Gospel Tent at the Lima Fairgrounds hosted a free event on Thursday.
Food, music, and fellowship were the main factors of the Gospel Singing Tent's benefit event. By having this outreach, the Gospel Singing Tent group says that their mission is to give back to the community. The event created a warm and uplifting atmosphere, as well as providing some fun for the night with music and raffles. Many different businesses had their own raffles for anyone to participate in, which gave everyone a boost of excitement for the night.
"This is our fourth year doing the tent, so we thought we would try to do a benefit, and we've been very blessed with that. And, it looks like it is going to be a great turnout," says Debbie Burrell, member of Gospel Singing Tent.
