LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Apollo Career Center opened its doors for their 12th annual Open House Thursday evening.
ApolloPolooza gives adults, high schoolers, and any member of the community the chance to experience career technical education. Those in attendance were able to see first-hand the training and services that the career center has to offer, as well as ask questions to the staff and faculty. But the night didn't end there, as folks were entertained with games, prizes, and family fun.
"A lot of people know about Apollo, but maybe they haven't seen the building from inside. We want them to come out and explore the campus, learn about our programs, and celebrate what career tech does for our community. The whole career tech atmosphere and to make kids next-ready. Whether they are ready to go to the workforce, go to college, or go to the military, we're here to help the community be stronger together," added Maria Rellinger, Treasurer and CFO of the Apollo Career Center.
