KENTON (WLIO) - The Kenton Wildcats are looking to turn the page after a 1-9 season in 2025 and chase their first winning record since 2019.

Kenton returns sophomore quarterback Xavier Gammon, who took over as the starter as a freshman last season. Head coach Zach Turner also returns as the team's offensive play caller.

The Wildcats spent part of the offseason competing in 7-on-7 tournaments in Alabama and Tennessee, facing some of the top competition in the country.

Kenton opens the 2026 season at home against Eastwood, which went 8-3 last season and defeated the Wildcats 40-21 in last year's opener.
