LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Apollo Career Center welcomed the community Thursday evening for its annual Apollopalooza.

Apollo Career Center hosts annual Apollopalooza

The event gave Apollo the opportunity to showcase its offerings in both high school and adult education programs. It also served as a chance for alumni to reconnect with former classmates and instructors. Each lab was open for attendees to explore at their own pace and experience what a typical classroom is like. Many high school students planning to attend the career center in the future took advantage of the event to get a preview of what their education might look like.

"We have a lot of students who are planning to come here next year, that will come and check out their labs, that they might what they might be seeing, or folks that might want to come in the future. And that's true on our adult side as well. So really happy to be able to show off all the great things that we do here at Apollo in terms of providing a skilled workforce," said Keith Horner, superintendent at Apollo Career Center.
