WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WLIO) - It's hard to gain business during the bitter cold, but luckily Wapakoneta had a solution.

Wapakoneta hosted a Chocolate Walk, which combined businesses and chocolate to boost customers. With 27 businesses participating, Auglaize County saw an increase in customers during the winter season.

With each business so close to the next, it was easy to walk store-to-store to learn more about each location. Each business had a unique chocolate snack to hand out, and one location even had a pony to people to meet. The purpose? To bring shoppers out and to give ticket proceeds to local youth organizations.
