Author Remembers Armstrong

The Armstrong Air and Space Museum prepared for the 45th anniversary of the moon landing by inviting a special guest to speak about his experience with the famed astronaut.

James Hansen, a history professor at Auburn University, gave a presentation in the museum's astro theater this evening.  Hansen discussed his 2005 award-winning biography of Neil Armstrong to an audience of about 40 people. He hoped to show people another side of Armstrong that few may have known.

Hansen also mentioned how Universal Studios owns the movie rights to the biography. He followed the presentation by taking questions about Armstrong from members of the audience. Copies of his book were available to purchase and Hansen even held a book signing for the audience.
