LIMA — Bath picked up a Western Buckeye League girls soccer win on Tuesday night, defeating Defiance 4-1 at home.
The Wildcats controlled much of the second half, with junior Gwyn Foust leading the way. Foust scored twice, including a highlight goal in which she collected a throw-in, cut left, shifted back to her right foot, and fired a strike into the upper corner of the net.
Defiance goalkeeper Laela Keller kept the Bulldogs within reach with several saves, but Bath’s offense proved too much.
With the win, Bath improved to 9-3-2 overall while continuing to build momentum in league play. Defiance fell to 3-9-1.
