FINDLAY, OH (WLIO) - The Black Heritage Library & Multicultural Center hosts its very first Martin Luther King Jr. story time hour.
In celebration of MLK Day, children and their parents spent their afternoon learning about the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Located in Findlay, the center has become a lending library and teaching museum highlighting diversity across the Northwest Ohio region. The Black Heritage Library also offers an array of educational services to local and surrounding communities.
"We have all kinds of art on the walls, there's artifacts, there's history, there's books you can borrow, there's just so much here to be offered. We have different displays set up in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. in honor of his birthday. We just really want folks in Findlay to come and find this hidden gem," said Cathy Weygandt, volunteer and ally.
