Bridging the Gap Health and Wellness Expo

An initiative started to bring awareness to the health disparities among minorities is gaining steam and growing.

The Bridging The Gap Health and Wellness Expo will offer free health screenings, educational sessions on health services and resources, and motivational tools for participants to make positive health choices. Those who have attended the expo encourage others to come out and to not let any issues you may have stop you.

Although the Health and Wellness Expo is geared toward African-American men, women, and children, all members of the community are invited to learn about health issues facing minorities.

The expo will be held Saturday, April 1st at Lima Senior High School from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It's free and open to the public.
