This is National School Bus Safety Week and the Ohio State Highway Patrol is cracking down on people who don’t pay attention to the laws pertaining to school buses.
Students at Elida High School board the buses as they prepare to take their daily trip home.
Buses make frequent stops while dropping students off at their home.
This week is a reminder to the motoring public about safety around school buses.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is following the buses this week in an attempt to catch motorists driving unsafely around the buses.
Not only were there troopers following the buses there was also a trooper on board the bus to help identify any potential violators.
Elida isn’t the only school district that’s being targeted this week, troopers were also out following Shawnee School District buses today.
