LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Community members looking to learn more about the planned Google data center in Lima can now access information through the Allen Economic Development Group website.
Officials say the site includes a dedicated section with details about the project, along with answers to frequently asked questions aimed at addressing community interest and concerns. Cindy Leis, president and CEO of the Allen Economic Development Group, said the online resource is designed to provide accurate and project-specific information.
"It's going to be a wonderful resource for our community to go look at this data site and understand that there's information out there that's specifically to the Google data center, versus all the other information that might be out there available about Data Centers."
Leis added that the organization plans to keep the page updated as the project progresses. Future updates will include announcements and employment opportunities related to the Google data center.
