Crime Victim Services of Allen and Putnam counties have won two state awards for their work here locally.
The Ohio Victim Witness Association handed out their "Visionaries in Victim Advocacy Awards" last week. The Crime Victim Services Agency got the Program of the Year Award for expanding their reach of victim's rights and programs. Director of Day One, Ryn Farmer was awarded the Future Leader Award. The award recognizes advocates new to the field that has dedicated their efforts to support victims of crime. Crime Victim Services staff says they are honored to be recognized statewide for their efforts.
