February 24, 2025, Press Release from the Delphos Police Department: On 2-16-2025 officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of S. Franklin St, for a Domestic Disturbance. Officers arrived and found that no physical violence had occurred.
On 2-16-2025 officers were sent to the 1400 block of N. Main St, to investigate an alarm activation at a business.
On 2-16-2025 officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Moxie Lane after receiving a call to respond for a report of a deceased male.
On 2-17-2025 officers were sent to the 1900 block of E. 5th St, to assist a male who stated that he was left stranded at Love’s Travel Stop.
On 2-18-2025 officers met with a resident in the 600 block of S. Bredeick St, who reported that when he returned home, he found his door frame broken.
On 2-18-2025 officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Skinner St, for a Domestic Violence complaint. Officers spoke with a male and female at the residence, each giving a different account of the altercation. No primary physical aggressor was determined and neither wished to pursue charges. The report will be sent to the Prosecutor’s Office for review.
On 2-19-2025 officers were made aware of an active warrant out of Allen County for, 20 year old John Holland II, of Delphos. Holland was located and taken into custody without issue. He was then transferred to a Deputy from Allen County.
On 2-19-2025 officers were sent to a residence in the 1300 block of Marsh Ave, to investigate a 911 hang up call.
On 2-20-2025 a female requested officers assistance by providing a stand by while she removed her property from a residence she had been living at.
On 2-21-2025 officers were dispatched to the 200 block of N. Main St, for a Domestic Disturbance.
On 2-21-2025 officers proceeded to the 300 block of North St, to investigate a private property crash involving two vehicles.
On 2-21-2025 officers were sent to the 100 block of E. 12th St, after receiving a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the area. Officers located the vehicle and found a male inside who stated that he had been assaulted by two unknown males. The male stated that he was driving around looking for the men.
On 2-21-2025 a female spoke with officers wishing to report her son being threatened by a co-worker. The female told officers that the incident happened days earlier while her son was working.
On 2-22-2025 officers responded to the 500 block of E. 5th St. to investigate a two-vehicle crash. Officers issued one driver a citation for Failure to Maintain an Assured Clear Distance Ahead.
On 2-22-2025 officers were dispatched to the100 block of W. Clime St, for a Criminal Damaging complaint. The owner of a vehicle parked at this residence found that someone had spray painted several vulgar words on it.
