As we head into the week, temperatures are expected to soar into the 90s, and medics say you need to take precautions when spending your days out in the sun.
"Lots of water. Sports drinks are better but water is plenty good," said Andrew Steinke with the Buckland Fire Department.
Many fairgoers we spoke with said they were prepared for the rising temps, and local vendors are here to help.
"I try to encourage everyone to stay hydrated because it's going to be hot this week," said Eli Milby, manager of Wolf Pack Sweet Tea.
But it's not just the people at the fair who are trying to stay cool.
"Sometimes they'll sweat. I can see it in their face. A lot of times they won't stand up," Liberty Menke, a 4H member, said about her cows.
She keeps a close eye on her animals and uses fans and water to cool them down.
"I like to water them at least every hour or two, just to make sure they get enough water," Menke said.
So as the week goes on, medics at the fair want everyone to remember-
"Heat exhaustion is very serious. Take it very seriously," Steinke said.
