As Superbowl Sunday quickly approaches, police across the country are reminding us of the dangers of drinking and driving. That includes the Ohio State Highway Patrol, who is encouraging everyone to have fun with family and friends, but to do it in a safe manner.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol want those celebrating to avoid drinking and driving and to always designate a sober driver. Troopers also want people to remember the "Fans don't let fans drive drunk" initiative and make sure that anyone who has consumed alcohol does not drive, regardless of who they are.
The Lima and Findlay Posts will be joining forces to crack down on impaired drivers all weekend long. Troopers are encouraging the public to use #677 to report dangerous or impaired drivers this weekend.
