The Ohio Department of Agriculture has announced a farm pesticide disposal collection in Putnam County.
On Tuesday, August 15th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the O.S.U. Extension Putnam County Office, area farmers wanting to dispose of unwanted pesticides will be able to drop off the farm chemicals free of charge. It's for farm chemicals only. The collection is sponsored in conjunction with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
