ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A former probation officer for the Lima Municipal Court is facing multiple sex-related charges.
Dexter Thompson was indicted on 10 charges which include felony sexual battery and gross sexual imposition charges, and misdemeanor charges of public indecency and sexual imposition. The charges allegedly involve people who were on probation and he was assigned to.
According to the Allen County indictment, the incidents happened between March and September of 2022. He was placed on leave in the fall of that year and was fired in December of 2022. Thompson has pleaded not guilty to the charges and a June 2024 trial date has been set to hear his case.
