LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Lima Senior high school celebrated their 2026 class at their graduation ceremony.
Although it was a rainy ceremony, the class of 2026 received their diplomas at the Spartan Stadium. Family, friends, and faculty filled the stadium to celebrate the graduates’ accomplishments despite the weather. Both the valedictorian and salutatorian shared spoke, as well as the superintendent, Andre Rudolph. Students say the moment was bittersweet, as they start a new chapter in life but might not know what the future holds. Many graduates reflected on the friendships, memories, and lessons they gained during their time at Lima Senior.
"We're excited but, I think everyone's been waiting for this time. We've been off for about a week or two, and we've been preparing this past week. But, I think we're all excited to move on to our next chapter," says Andrew Bowsher, valedictorian for the LHS Class of 2026.
The Lima Senior class of 2026 not only leaves with a diploma, but memories to cherish forever.
