ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Apollo students got to show off what they are doing in their classes to their grandparents today.
Apollo also had some ice cream and cookies for the grandparents during their visit.
Around 400 grandparents came to Apollo Career Center Wednesday afternoon to visit the labs and classrooms to see the various projects and skills they are learning. Grandparents' Day is a long-standing tradition at Apollo and helps the students show how proud they are of their work to the people who are always proud of them.

"The smiles they have on their faces really mean a lot. We know they enjoy it. The grandparents are so proud of their grandkids and love to be able to see what they are doing. We know that these are high school kids, but they like to show off what they are doing in their labs," says Superintendent Keith Horner, Apollo Career Center.
