FINDLAY, Ohio (WLIO) - The Black Heritage Library and Multicultural Center invites the public to an open house on Saturday, Feb. 15, from noon to 5 p.m. to explore the unique and exciting work taking place at the center.
Guests will have the opportunity to view art and artifacts on display while learning about Black History Month.
Scheduled events include:
- 12 p.m.: Open house, building tours by board members, and pizza, chips, and drinks.
- 1 p.m.: Initial discussion on current social topics and issues, with plans for continued discussions on subsequent dates.
- 2 p.m.: Screening of The Six Triple Eight, a drama based on a true story about the only U.S. Women’s Army Corps unit stationed overseas during World War II.
- 4:15 p.m.: Post-screening discussion of the movie followed by wrap-up comments.
