Principal Scott Spriggs said, "This is our annual event we do, 'Santa's Night Out'. It's a way for us to engage with families, get community involvement in the school, and just a way to see the kids have fun and get together."
"It's a really good thing. It makes the kids really happy. They get to see Santa Claus. That's the most important thing right now, so they get to find out if they are on the good or bad list. I have heard that being asked a few times. It's just a great way to get families together, and they get to see me and Mr. Spriggs in a different aspect other than in the classroom, so we get to have a little bit more fun with them," added Rebecca Leach, third-grade teacher.
Up next for the school, on December 17th, the Heritage Elementary School's Fourth Graders will put on their Christmas concert before the students are set loose for Christmas break.
