PERRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WLIO) - The Allen County Sheriff's Office has released more information about the fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday in Perry Township.
23-year-old Jacob Striff has been charged with murder and is currently in the Allen County Jail awaiting arraignment.

Deputies say they were called to 1820 Charledon Avenue and found 41-year-old Jeffery Paxton Jr. with gunshot wounds.
Deputies say they were called to 1820 Charledon Avenue Tuesday afternoon and found 41-year-old Jeffery Paxton Jr. with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Lima Memorial, where he was pronounced dead. Striff was at the scene when deputies arrived and was taken into custody without incident. The body was taken to the Lucas County Coroner's Office for an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing.
