Job seekers and employers come together at the Spring Job and Internship Fair

Finding a job can be a daunting task but a local college campus wants to help.

Thursday was the Spring Job and Internship Fair hosted by Rhodes State College and OSU Lima. It provides both job seekers and employers a chance to talk about what each has to offer the other in the business world. Officials with Ohio Means Jobs Allen County feel the event is beneficial to all.

"This gives the job seeker an opportunity to network with the employers and those who are making those decisions, maybe it's the HR personnel that they're meeting with. So it's an opportunity for the job seeker to get their resume in front of those individuals and to promote themselves and sell themselves to the employer," said Paula Siebeneck, Assistant Director of Ohio Means Jobs Allen County.

The Lima campus will hold another job and internship fair in the fall.
