Hundreds of people came out for the annual Kids Fest at Memorial Park in Ottawa.
OTTAWA, OH (WLIO) - Families around Ottawa had fun as they say goodbye to summer by saying hello to some local businesses and organizations.
While the kids are having fun, the parents are learning more about some of the services and programs that are offered around Ottawa.
Hundreds of people came out for the annual Kids Fest at Memorial Park in Ottawa. There were 34 booths set up to offer different activities, games, or give away items to kids. There was also food and live performances to entertain the crowds. While the kids are having fun, the parents are learning more about some of the services and programs that are offered around Ottawa.

“What’s nice about it is that it’s all local businesses and organizations. So, it connects everybody with all the families in the area. Each different booth is a different business or organization, and they get to choose whatever they want to do—different activities, crafts, giveaways, whatever it is. So it’s a great way for everyone to meet each other and get exposure,” says Nate Huber, Chairman of Kids Fest.
This is the 4th year for Kids Fest in Ottawa.
