Today the kids were creating an old day camp favorite, a "God's Eye."
The City of Lima's Playground Program provides children with a wide variety of activities this summer, and today and on Thursday, Artspace/Lima will go on the road to spend time with the playground program.
They used either actual sticks or popsicle sticks and weaved around them with colorful yarn.

"It's really nice, especially for kids who may not get those opportunities during the summer. Maybe they don't have art supplies available to them. Maybe it's just a time thing, but being able to have someone from the community like ArtSpace Lima come down and be like, Hey, this is what we do; this is the stuff we have available to you at your local community center," said Elyse Sopa, ArtSpace/Lima instructor.
