With one cleanup in the books, the City of Lima is eager to continue the cleanup for the next 3 weekends.

Neighborhood specialist, Sydni Winkler is hoping since people are now aware of the cleanup that it brings more people in for the upcoming weekends.

Last weekend resulted in 15 dumpsters at the 4 locations, over 1000 tires, and about 9 cubic yards of brush dumped. Brush and tires will still only be accepted at the city garage on South Collett Street.

Neighborhood Specialist Syndi Winkle says, “If you have a yard that you need to get cleaned up, it's beautiful weather that we've been having, get out in your yard, get your brush, come get it taken care of. You don't have to get a dumpster, it's all on us. And we're just looking to clean up Lima a little bit.”

This Saturday there will be 5 locations open from 9 a.m. to noon, you can find them at:

-The American Legion Post 711 at 711 South Shore Drive

-The State Bank at 930 West Market Street

-In Faurot Park by Diamond #5

-At Robb Park across from the FOP Hall

-City Garage at 900 South Collett Street.
