Lima supports little girl's lemonade stand

Here’s a "feel good" story that actually happened in Lima on Saturday (October 8, 2016).

Three weeks ago 9 year old Mackenzie Archer had her bike stolen from her North Elizabeth Street home.

So she decided to try and raise money for a new bike by selling lemonade.

Thanks to social media, word of the lemonade stand spread throughout town and she had no trouble raising money for the new bike.

But it turns out she didn’t have to.

Thanks to the generosity of A and D towing, she received a brand new bike and her two brothers also received new bikes.

Now little Mackenzie is looking to "pay it forward".

“Yes, I’m hoping to help other kids out by them presents that they need,” said Archer.

Mackenzie’s mom, Stephanie Rogers says she was blown away by the support.

“Honestly, I’m speechless, like there’s so much hate and bad things happening in the world and then you see a thing like this happen. It’s so amazing the community just pulled together and helped somebody like my daughter,” said Rogers.

What a great little girl and thanks again to A and D towing for helping this story have a happy ending.
