A local teacher has been named Ohio's 2016 continuing education for adult's "Educator of the Year" and you may be surprised where she teaches.
Mary Jane Bacome is the ABLE GED instructor at the Worth Center. She works with the residents there with addictions to further their education. She was nominated by the Lima City Schools ABLE GED program for her dedication and success with residents. Bacome also came in second nationally as the co-op teacher of the year. She says she is humbled by the honor and is proud of her work making a difference in her students lives.
