Marimor's free shredding day returns on Friday

Marimor Industries is bringing back their free shredding day this week.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the afternoon on September 28, people can come into Marimor and get rid of paper products that have been stacking up. Any business or individual is welcome to come by and are guaranteed to have their documents destroyed in a safe and confidential manner. This shredding day happens every couple of years and what's different this year is participants at Marimor will now use the day as a teaching moment. Terry Heminger from Marimor said this event is a nice way to give back to the community.

"They've been so involved in our success out here," Heminger said, who works in marketing for Marimor. "It's nice that we can give back to them and this is, consistently, when we've had these over the past years, has always been a great response and support from our community to come out and get involved with us."

The only products prohibited are x-rays, microfilm, and sticky labels.
