Maverick Media purchased the 5 radio stations in 2003. Those 5 stations include 92.1 The Frog, 93.1 The Fan, 107.1 WDOH, 104.9 The Eagle,and 940 WCIT. As of last night Childers Media Group has purchased the stations pending FCC approval according to president Matt Childers. Childers says this is a unique opportunity to benefit West Central Ohio even more by having true local ownership. Â
Childers Media Group will be the only media company in the metro area that is locally owned and operated. Childers adds they are excited to move forward and will continue to serve the community in the most informative, entertaining, and professional way that the community has grown to expect.Â
