LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Mercy Health-St. Rita's wants to help their neighbors get healthy.

The community block party will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. where you can learn more about Club 129 and have a day full of family fun.
As part of their "Club 129," Mercy Health-St. Rita's is offering incentives for people to make healthy life choices. If you participate in events like Walk with a Doc and Cooking Matters classes, you can earn points towards prizes to encourage taking responsibility for your own health.

"With just doing things provide for their own good health, like seeing their primary care doc or their dentist or getting their preventative screenings. All of those things add up for points that will get them incentives such as gym memberships, new shoes, grocery gift cards," explained Carla Thompson, resource navigator for Mercy Health-St. Rita's.
They will be holding a community block party on September 21, 2024, at the Central Lima Neighborhood Association's Reading Park, located on North Street across from the hospital.
