The first Big R store in Ohio opened its doors to the public Wednesday.
Big R is a general merchandise retailer, headquartered in Illinois and has 20 stores throughout Illinois, Indiana, and now Ohio. The store has clothing, farm and pet supplies, food, and more - crediting itself as having "everyday items for life's everyday things". Northwest Ohio has been a location of interest for the store for a while, and they are looking to be successful here in the Buckeye State.
"We're excited - this has been a great experience, and we've been excited about Ohio for quite a few months now," said Joda Crabtree, co-owner of Big R Stores. "We're really looking forward to making a nice investment in northwest Ohio and looking forward to a lot of years of success here."
The next Ohio location that Big R is opening is in the Findlay Mall, and that is expected to open sometime next spring.
