The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released their Christmas holiday report.
From December 24th until December 27th, there were seven fatal crashes the resulted in 9 deaths, which are down from last year’s numbers. 6 of those who died were not wearing a seatbelt. Troopers saw a 137 percent increase in impaired driving compared to last year, resulting in 142 impaired driving arrests. There were also 907 crashes, and 85 drug arrests in the state, both up from 2019.
