An accident on the west side of Lima sent one driver to the hospital earlier Wednesday morning.
Traveling westbound on Allentown Road, officials say the driver of a gray Jeep failed to yield to a stoplight at the Eastown Road intersection. As a result, the Jeep collided with a blue vehicle, damaging both and sending one to the hospital with minor injuries. The sun may have played a factor in the accident as it lined up with the stoplight in the westbound lane on Allentown.
