LIMA, OH (WLIO) - With no winners in last night's drawing, the Powerball jackpot rises to over $1.7 billion dollars.
The cash option also jumped to $756 million. The last time there was a Powerball winner was July 19th, when one person won a jackpot over one billion dollars. There have been 35 consecutive drawings since that winner. This is the first time in Powerball history that there would be back-to-back billion-dollar winners. But the odds of winning are 1 and 293 million.
