Local businesses rolled in to Westgate Lanes Saturday afternoon to help support the Rally Point Youth Center.
Rally Point's yearly Bowl-a-Thon is put on as a fund raising event for the youth center, with businesses and organizations making up teams to have fun for a good cause. Those with Rally Point Youth Center say it means a lot to see so many people coming out to help them year after year, and that the money raised really makes a difference in what they are able to do for the community.
"It's great and it grew from last year - we have three teams from Ford, and two teams from Procter and Gamble - and it does take a community to support the kind of work that we do, and it's also affirming that what we're doing is important to our community," said Jared Diller, director of Rally Point Youth Center.
Your Hometown Stations was a part of the fun as one of the teams participating in the Bowl-a-Thon.
