"Today we're trying to show some of our 7th and 8th grade students here at Shawnee some of the testing that we do in the hospital, so we have them swabbing their cheeks, we have them performing blood types, and we also have them looking at some of the bacteria that we grow every day on some of our patients, so we're hoping that they kinda get to get a little sneak peek at what we do and maybe introduce them to some of these fields they may not be aware of," said Sam Schroeder, lab director at Lima Memorial Health System.
