The former Starr Commonwealth Campus in Van Wert has a new life.

It was announced this week that the Van Wert Campus was sold to New Beginnings Recovery, a private drug rehabilitation facility.

The 53 acre campus has been idle since closing its doors in 2010.

New Beginnings is a privately owned residential substance abuse facility that provides evidence-based treatment for adults with private insurance.

Their unique approach is not time restricted, which allows for their clientele to fully heal in a beautiful and quiet setting.

Tamara Hall, Chief Operating Officer and President of New Beginnings Recovery said in a news release that it is their number one priority to provide help for the thousands of people who are currently struggling with addiction.

There is no mention in the news release about how much money was paid for the Van Wert Campus.
