ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - We must continue to make Ohio a pro-life state, that from State Representative Susan Manchester at Friday's Allen County Republican Luncheon.
Manchester states that the passage of the Heartbeat Bill in 2019, which she voted for, is a start but now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, more work needs to be done. So when they reconvene, Manchester says it is critical that they advance pro-life policies.
"With Roe v. Wade being overturned, the Supreme Court has affirmed that life is valuable, life is important, and we want to affirm that right here in the state of Ohio. All ready we've seen a major abortion clinic shut down in Ohio and I think we want to continue to send that message to voters that we are going to protect life in this state," stated Representative Susan Manchester.
Manchester also encouraged the Republican voters to get out this November. She says Allen County had the 2nd highest voter turnout in the August primary.
