June 30, 2024, Press Release from the Ohio Theatre Lima: On Saturday, July 6, The Avante Garage Theatre Company presents a staged reading of a new play by Lima Local Nick Hribar on the Stage Door Canteen Cabaret Stage! Nick’s play - “Sailor’s Warning” is a funny, tragic, edge-of-your-seat swashbuckling adventure you won’t want to miss!
Doors open at 6pm for Food and Drink and the Reading will begin at 7pm. Seating is limited and is first come, first served. This event is FREE but you must make a reservation in advance. If your plans change, please email us at ohiotheatrelima@gmail.com so others may take your space.
From the playwright: “Violence. We all know that word. Does it form a memory? A scent? In 1720 Anna Charles ran from violence to start anew, landing in the lives of innocents. But will she be able to defeat the violence that follows her? Or will she succumb to the mistakes of her past?”

The 97 year-old Ohio Theatre Lima, located at 122 West North Street in Downtown Lima is on the National Register of Historic Places.
