Superintendent Mark Bagley and the other board members discussed the planning behind "Phase II" of the big changes that are coming to the Cougars home starting in the spring. The long-term project will focus on community engagement while improving the facilities to better the experience of those in attendance. The board has their eyes set on growing their partnership with the downtown area, as well as hosting future school and community events at the venue.

Mark Bagley, Superintendent of Van Wert City Schools, added, "One of our goals all along was to make our stadium handicap accessible. With a brand-new press box, our handicap landing will be at the front of the press box. So, all of our elderly or people that couldn't view the games from the stands because our stadium is so unique and old, 88 years, can now walk the stairs or get in an elevator and sit on the 50-yard line."

Other future renovations at the facility will include updates to the restrooms and the team's locker rooms.
