VAN WERT, Ohio (WLIO) – If you're searching for great bargains, West Central Ohio will be the place to be from August 7 through August 10.
That's because both the 127 Yard Sale and the Lincoln Highway Buy-Way Sale will kick off Thursday.
The 127 Yard Sale, known as the “World’s Longest Yard Sale,” stretches 600 miles through six states. The Lincoln Highway Buy-Way Sale spans the state of Ohio along the historic Lincoln Highway.
Both major highways intersect in Van Wert, and the Van Wert County Fairgrounds will be a popular destination for shoppers. Many vendors are expected to set up booths there to attract travelers hunting for deals.
Both sales begin Thursday. The Lincoln Highway Buy-Way Sale wraps up Saturday, while the 127 Yard Sale continues through Sunday.
