Sunday's film in the Groupie Movie Series was the 1990 Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles. Tickets for Groupie Movies are only $5, and on top of the big screen experience, there's also trivia contents at each movie showing.

Masks like the ones worn by the Ninja Turtles were also handed out and kids were asked to do their best ninja pose for a prize. While you could watch a movie at home through a streaming service, it can be much more fun to watch these nostalgic films in a theater setting.

"We're trying to bring a bunch of great old movies back and see them on a huge screen, it's 60 feet, it's enormous. You can see it bigger than life, you can hear it bigger than life, you can experience everything like the movie was supposed to be when it was originally released," said John Garner, Assistant Director of technical theater at the Veterans Memorial Civic Center.

The NeverEnding Story will be shown next on Sunday, Feb. 19th.
