Watch Communications held a community open house in Wapakoneta to talk to current and new customers about the upgrades to their service in the area. For the past two years, Watch has been upgrading their broadband service in Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois thanks to money from the Connect America Fund through the Federal Communication Commission.

“It has been a struggle for years to get them fast, reliable internet service and now we are able to provide them 100 Mbps service to rural areas that they have never had access to before,” says Mike O’Connor, Watch Communications General Manager for Ohio.

“Even though we had the challenge with COVID, what COVID did teach us is that people need reliable internet at home and we are working very, very hard on that,” adds Tommy Della Rocco, the Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer for Watch Communications.
