Young Entrepreneurs Academy

A local organization is helping teach business skills at a young age through a national competition.

The Lima Area Chamber Foundation hosted the Young Entrepreneurs Academy Investor Panel Presentation to give students, ranging from elementary to high school, business experience as well as scholarship opportunities. Similar to the hit show "Shark Tank", students would pitch their businesses to a panel of local investors with the hopes of obtaining funding for their business. If successful, the top student businesses from each Young Entrepreneurs Academy class can then move to the national level where they will compete for the Saunders Scholars Competition and business start-up price packages.

Moving on to semi-nationals and a free trip to Rochester, New York is Daniel wise and his Turbo History app that teaches students history in a fun, easy to learn way.
