Woof Boom Radio Lima has taken to the airwaves over the past two days in support of a charitable cause. Broadcasting on 92.1 The Frog, the company’s annual St. Jude Radiothon is underway, raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and its mission of finding cures and saving children’s lives.
A Care-A-Van from 92.1 The Frog delivered listener-donated toys and supplies to support nearly 200 children in the Allen County Children Services Adopt-a-Family holiday program.
They've raised more than a million dollars locally over the past 20 years to help families dealing with childhood cancer.Â
Holiday gift giving turned out in a big way on Wednesday for two local organizations. Woof Boom Radio's 92.1 The Frog held their Christmas Care-a-Van on Tuesday in partnership with Allen County Children Services.
It wasn't quite Santa's sleigh but it sure was full of Christmas cheer.
92.1 The Frog will be once again holding a concert Friday night to help benefit children at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Some area families will have the Christmas Frog to thank for their holiday this year.
