The Ada Police Department is seeking help from the public to find a missing village resident. Ada police are searching for Todd Musson, who is a 55-year-old white male, around 5-foot-9-inches tall, and weighs about 145 pounds. Musson was last seen on November 4, 2024, walking into a rural part of Hardin County southeast of Kenton while wearing a green t-shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and a black ballcap. Musson was formerly a resident of Kenton.

ADA, OH (WLIO) - Ada police officers are looking for suspects who took prescription medication from the Rite Aid pharmacy Monday night. The department released this picture of one of the robbery suspects caught on surveillance video. Officers were called to Rite Aid just before 9 p.m. The suspects were described as three black males with black clothing and wearing COVID-style masks. They didn't show any weapons, and no one was reported injured. They did leave on foot with prescription medication. Officers believe they got into a car with a fourth individual and left the area.

Alec comes to the Village of Ada from the City of Delphos where he has served for the past 5 years as a sergeant. During Alec’s time with Delphos, he managed their LEADS, Firearms Instruction, Policy Review and Implementation as well as a number of other administrative duties. Prior to his time with Delphos, Alec was with the Ada Police Department for approximately 7 ½ years serving as a dispatcher, full-time and part-time officer. Alec was Ada’s Officer of the Year in 2014 and has been named the MADD Officer of the Year, 9 of the last 10 years in a row either with the Ada or Delphos Police Departments.

49-year-old Rodney Slechter, of Lima, was stabbed just after midnight Monday at a home in the 300 block of West Montford Street in Ada. Officers found Slechter wounded, they administered first aid on him, but he died at the scene. Another man, whose name has not been released, was still in the house trailer when officers arrived. He was rushed to Lima Memorial Health System for injuries he received during the incident. No one has been arrested or charged pending the outcome of the investigation.
