An Auglaize County woman has pleaded guilty to the 2022 aggravated murder of her estranged husband, a killing captured on an in-car camera that led to multiple federal convictions and lengthy prison sentences.
Charges have been filed in connection with a fatal crash that happened last year in Auglaize County.
Bailey Luckett, 24, changed her plea to guilty on the charge of aggravated vehicular homicide for the I-75 crash in October that killed David Shutt, 44, of Lima.

The Auglaize County Grand Jury indicted Blayne Brock on 7 counts of Rape, 12 counts of Gross Sexual Imposition, and 1 count each of Attempted Gross Sexual Imposition and Sexual Battery. According to the indictment, the victim was under 13 years old and the crimes happened between April 2014 to September 2020. Each of the rape charges alone carries a possible sentence of 25 years to life. Brock is currently in the Auglaize County Jail on a $2,000,000 bond.
Keith Waddell Jr. pled guilty to Involuntary Manslaughter. After his guilty plea, the Murder, Attempted Murder, and other charges were dropped. The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office says that Waddell, Jacar Bitting, and Syniqua Bell were involved with the shooting of Dexter Turner and his son Alim Turner at the Dockside Apartments in April of 2018. Dexter Turner died days later at the hospital. Waddell was sentenced to 14 years in prison.

Syniqua Bell turned down a plea deal in Auglaize County Common Pleas court this week that would drop a Murder, Attempted Murder and other charges in exchanged for an Obstructing Justice charge, if she would cooperate with prosecutors in the cases against her co-defendants, Keith Waddell and Jacar Bitting. Bell's trial is scheduled to start at the end of August. According to the sheriff's office, in April of 2018, Dexter Turner was shot at the Dockside apartments. He died a few days later. His son Alim, was shot and injured. Dexter Turner identified Waddell and Bitting by their nicknames in a 9-1-1 call the night of the shooting.
A Columbus man facing murder charges in Auglaize County appeared in court for housekeeping matters. Jacar Bitting was in court to make sure he is getting adequate time to go over evidence with his attorney. Bitting is facing nine charges including aggravated murder, murder, and felonious assault. His trial is set for April 13. Bitting has two co-defendants, Syniqua Bell and Keith Waddle. They're accused of a 2018 shooting in St. Marys that killed Dexter Lee and injured his son Alim Turner.
A Wapakoneta man was found competent to stand trial in Auglaize County Common Pleas court Wednesday afternoon. 20-year-old Wesley Slaughter was found mentally fit to continue with a trial after two mental evaluations earlier this year.
