On Sunday night churches from all across Lima came together once again for a service to promote unity and help end gun violence in the city.More than a hundred people attended the Community Healing Service at Second Baptist Church.

Throughout the night pastors prayed to end gun violence and help families who have been impacted.Also for city and government officials and for peace and unity in Lima and in the nation.The congregation also sang several hymns along with the choir.

13 faith-based communities and churches gathered at Lima Memorial Hospital this morning(10/22/19) for an awards banquet. The funds given to these groups were provided in support of Activated Faith Community Challenge, which encourages local faith-based communities to take control of their health - whether it be mental, physical or spiritual. The groups being recognized were not only given financial assistance but technical support and any other resources they may need for a healthier organization.

Dozens of people gathered outside of New Morning Star Baptist Church to witness their family and friends give their lives over to Christ.

On Sunday close to 25 people were baptized in the pond outside of the Baptist church.

Shiloh Baptist Church welcomed a special guest today for its Women's Day Celebration.

That special guest was Dayton's Inspiration Church Co-Pastor and former Shiloh church member, Stephanie Wise- Cunningham.
